About the Role

The ideal candidate wants to design, build, launch and run exceptional marketing programs that accelerate Sigma’s platform and market adoption, delivering meaningful impact for our customers, partners, and users globally. From brand positioning and communications to enabling sales and customer success, the Head of Marketing will be responsible for building and operating the marketing strategy, tools and team to deliver against our ambitious growth objectives across a series of diverse industries. Reporting to the COO and working closely with key members of the executive team,  the successful candidate will be adept at balancing long-term strategic positioning and brand development alongside a world-class sales enablement engine and thrive in a fast paced, fast growth startup environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee the development of industry-specific sales and marketing collateral; product marketing collateral, sales collateral, one-pagers etc.
  • Develop the resources needed to support an ongoing series of cross-industry conferences and events; from sponsorship, speaking slots and attending external events, to designing and executing bespoke Sigma events; roundtables, executive dinners, channel partner events, webinars and more
  • Manage and accelerate key partner integrations through joint marketing plans, programs and campaigns with assigned partners to drive demand and qualified leads
  • Act as the voice of the customer across a diverse array of industries and use cases, able to distill market and customer needs for internal consumption, whilst aligning Sigma company messaging and GTM plans in a way that accelerates industry adoption and growth
  • Own the launch plans, develop schedules and maintain deadlines of marketing initiatives
  • Measure and track results for all activities to demonstrate the impact on business
  • As Marketing hire #1, evaluate and define what success means for Sigma and the future of our Marketing function, from brand development and positioning to world-class sales enablement
  • Identify Marketing priorities and develop a clear, measurable plan to achieve success across a series of identified programs
  • Take an active role in the development of the Sigma brand, company and product positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions
  • Work hand-in-hand with the team to craft impactful marketing strategies that lead to successful executions of downstream tactics
  • Explore and determine the effectiveness of strategies and channels including lifecycle marketing, digital marketing, content generation, and communications to support goals
  • Support Sigma’s go to market efforts via the development of high impact,  measurable marketing programs that can be scaled across a diverse array of industries and verticals

Qualifications:

  • Highly motivated, passionate, values-driven person with high energy, enthusiasm and passion for the Sigma mission, business and partner ecosystem
  • 5-7  years experience in B2B marketing at a high growth SaaS company, with channel partner marketing and/or developer marketing experience a plus
  • B.A. or B.S. in Business, Marketing or equivalent
  • Possess outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to build strong relationships with customers and partners globally
  • Strong program management skills
  • Thrives in a high energy, fast growth environment
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to influence and motivate team members cross-functionally
  • Detail oriented with proven ability to drive multiple projects forward cross-functionally
